I heard that you are retiring. I'm not sure you remember me but I remember you clearly because you are my role model.
To refresh your memory, I was in Bournemouth in 2000 and stayed with Val. I joined your Bible study almost every week. You were a great teacher and I am so grateful for your work.
I stayed in England for only 6 months but I learned a lot largely thanks to my English mom, Val and You!!
Thank you so much.
I wish you all the best.

Dear, Tina.
Do you rememner me, Jamie from Korea, who always had a lot of questions about God and the Bible. I still have lots of questions but in a different way. My friend bought me the Bible written in Korean, and I read it whenever I have a chance. I try to find meanings behind the words, and surprisingly there is always an answer for me. I am doing the master's course in linguistics and there was a project to explore a different culture from my own. I did it on Christianity in Korea, and it was a great chance for me to understand Christianity more and better. I would like to say it is all from your help when I was in Bournemouth. Thank you for the wonderful time.
Tina, I wish I can see you again someday, and have a long and happy retirement.
Love,
Jamie.

This is Joon-Hee (I hope you could remember me^^)
First of all, I am really sorry that I could not see you to say good-bye before I came back to Korea.
I spoke to Val a few days ago and heard that you have retired from WIC. I would agree that it is time to have a full of rest for now and the future.
By the way, I am still in contact with few of your girls ... With Jung-Ran, we quite often speak to each other, even today on a messenger.
Here the weather is tooooo hoooot with over 30 degree on average these days. I almost can not stand it.
I would rather prefer what the weather is like in the UK. than this. Apart from that everything seems alright. I am going to look for a proper job soon after having a little more rest.
I might be able to go back to England either late this year or next for holiday hopefully
If it would happen, please let me come and see you at that time.
I wish you all the best especially for your health and will write again sometimes.
Take care,,,With my big hug xxx

Dear Tina,
How are you doing?
This is SIK, korean student who studied English at Westbourne Accademy in 1999.
You may not remember my name since you have had so many students so far. Come to think about it, it has passed more than 10 years.
I did really enjoy Tina's House (Bible study) with international students and liked a cup of tea with delicious biscuits and .
Wow, I really cannot forget such a nice memory.
Thru Val, I heard that you retired the work in the church in the early July. I was supposed to send an email before you retired the work.
But because of Job loaded recently, I completely forgot sending the email.
Even it was quite late to send an email but I do much appreciate your effort on the missionary work for the international students.
I really think God must have been especially pleased with your missionary work that you have done.
I am sure that many international students who heard Good News from you will come close to God more and more.
Again, thank you very much for your help and guidance. God bless you.
Regards,
Sik
